The coach parents talk to at practice
Athlete Academy was built by Coach Aaron Larmore on a simple observation from twenty-plus years of coaching: the athletes who last are the ones somebody developed on purpose.
The method
Measure first. Opinions are cheap; baselines aren't.
Train what the data shows, in the dose the athlete's stage can absorb.
Re-measure, show the family, adjust. Repeat for seasons, not weeks.
What we believe
Skills sit on top of athletes. Clubs build the skills; someone has to build the athlete.
Evidence beats hype. If we can't measure it, we won't claim it.
Parents deserve plain language. If an explanation needs jargon, it isn't finished yet.
The system has a name — the Athlete Academy Standard™ — and one promise underneath it: move families from confusion to clarity. We work with families in person in North Carolina's Triangle and online.

- 14 High School All-Americans
- 13 National Team members
I worked with Aaron all 4 years of high school. In that time, I increased my vertical jump by 12.5 inches (35") and increased my speed on the track.
Increased vertical jump, increased speed, increased first-step quickness in all athletes.
